Eona charges a simple annual storage fee on your vault value plus a transparent commission when you buy or sell.

Storage costs: Management costs for the physical gold, silver or platinum you purchase and store at Eona are 0.5% p.a. for gold and 1.0% p.a. for silver and platinum (excluding VAT), calculated daily on the vault value. These costs include storage, insurance, legal, office and administrative costs.
Transaction commissions: Standard market orders are subject to a 1% purchase and 1% sale commission. Savings (recurring) orders are charged 0.5% on purchase. A detailed overview is available in your Eona dashboard.
Spread: When buying and selling, you should take market spread into account. On average this is around 2.0% and depends on spot price, liquidity, volatility and wholesale market conditions.
