Hycroft Mining has emerged as the leader in silver assay results for the year, with its site in Nevada delivering the highest-grade findings. The company's drill hole H24D-6018 intersected 21.2 meters grading 2,359 grams of silver per tonne from a depth of 306.6 meters, achieving a grade times width value of 50,025. This marks the best result at the site in over four decades, confirming a high-grade silver trend at the Brimstone zone.
Aftermath Silver secured the second position with its Berenguela project in Peru. Drill hole AFD100 returned 156 meters grading 290 grams of silver per tonne from the surface, resulting in a grade times width value of 45,240. This was part of a program aimed at defining the zone's mineralization margins.
Aya Gold & Silver's Zgounder mine in Morocco ranked third. Drill hole ZG-RC-24-277 cut 17 meters grading 2,425 grams of silver from 33 meters depth, with a grade times width value of 41,225. This result highlights the potential to increase high-grade ounces around Zgounder's pit.
Hycroft Mining is advancing its exploration efforts with a 14,500-meter drill program to expand high-grade discoveries at Brimstone and Vortex. The company plans to complete a technical study with economic assessments by the fourth quarter.
Aftermath Silver is working on a preliminary feasibility study for Berenguela, while Aya Gold & Silver is progressing with its 25,000-meter drill program at Zgounder, aiming to update its resource estimate by the year's end.
