Where your metal is stored matters. At EONA, your metal doesn’t sit in an unknown location. It is held with a named, independent vault operator, and you can see which bars your holding is recorded against.
Current and Planned Vault Locations
Today, all metal bought through EONA is stored with Loomis in Dubai. Zurich and Singapore are planned locations (coming soon); they are not currently available and cannot be selected.
- Dubai (current): All EONA metal is held here, with Loomis, an independent vault operator. Dubai is a major regional hub for the physical gold trade.
- Zurich (planned): Planned location, coming soon. Not currently available.
- Singapore (planned): Planned location, coming soon. Not currently available.
When new locations are added, EONA will publish how they work, including any costs, before they can be used.
Allocated Storage — Recorded Against Specific Bars
Unlike pooled accounts or paper proxies, your EONA holding is allocated. That means:
- Your holding is recorded against specific bars with serial numbers.
- Your metal is recorded separately from EONA’s own assets.
- You can see your holdings and bar allocations in your account.
You don’t just “have exposure.” You have recorded ownership.
Moving Metal Between Locations
Moving metal between vault locations is not currently available, because Dubai is the only location in use.
If Zurich or Singapore are introduced, EONA will explain the process, timing and any fees before any transfer option is offered.
Security at the Vault
Loomis operates professional high-security vault facilities. Typical measures include:
- Controlled access and continuous monitoring
- Inventory checks and independent verification
- Insurance maintained by Loomis under its own policy
- Operational and contingency procedures
EONA does not promise that the vault operator’s insurance covers you or your metal directly or in full, and the value of precious metals can fall.
