Getting Started

First Purchase in 3 Steps

Buying allocated precious metals with EONA is straightforward. Once your account is verified, your first purchase takes three steps — with the price, costs and storage shown before you confirm.

Step 1: Send a Payment for Your Purchase

Before you can buy, you send a payment to EONA by bank transfer in AED or USD from a bank account in your own name. Money you send is held only as payment for metal (“Funds for purchases”), earns no interest and is refunded automatically if not used within 30 days.

  • Bank transfer from a bank account in your own name
  • AED or USD only
  • No cards, cash or crypto-assets are accepted

You’ll be notified once your payment has been received and is available for purchases in your EONA account.

Step 2: Choose Your Metal and Amount

Next, you select:

  • Metal type: Gold or silver
  • Amount: Starting from 1 gram
  • Storage: With Loomis in Dubai (Zurich and Singapore are planned, coming soon)

EONA’s prices are based on the international spot price from a professional market-data provider, refreshed approximately every 10 to 15 minutes, plus a premium and a commission. You’ll see the price, commission and total cost before you confirm (see our Fees & Spread page).

Your holding is allocated to specific bars and recorded separately from EONA’s own assets.

Step 3: Confirm Your Purchase

After selecting your metal and amount, review the order summary. If everything looks correct, confirm your purchase.

Your metal is then:

  • Purchased at the price shown when you confirmed
  • Allocated to specific bars and recorded in your account
  • Stored with Loomis in Dubai
  • Visible in your EONA account, with the bar serial numbers

You receive a record of your purchase and can view your holdings at any time. The value of precious metals can rise or fall. EONA sells on an execution-only basis and does not give investment advice.

Common questions

  • No. You can buy from 1g. Smaller amounts are recorded as a share of specific allocated bars, not a claim on a pooled account.
