Silver is both a precious metal and an industrial commodity. At EONA, you buy physical silver recorded against specific bars stored with Loomis in Dubai. This isn’t pooled silver or a proxy claim.
What Does “Allocated Silver” Mean?
Allocated silver means your holding is recorded against specific physical bars (or a recorded share of them), rather than a general claim on a provider. With EONA, each bar is identified by serial number and your holding is recorded separately from EONA’s own assets.
This matters because clear records make it easier to establish what belongs to you. It does not protect against falls in the silver price.
How Holdings Work
EONA keeps silver holdings simple:
- Any Amount: Buy the amount you choose, subject to any minimum shown on the platform .
- Specific Bars: Your holding is recorded against identified bars, shown with serial numbers in your account.
- Published Pricing: international spot price plus a premiumand commission (see our Fees & Spread page).
Bars are investment-grade (minimum 999 fineness) from Emirates Minting Factory, an RJC-certified UAE refinery, approved under EONA’s supply-chain due diligence policy.
Recorded Ownership
EONA provides allocated ownership. You are not buying a share in a fund or relying on a fund manager’s discretion. You can see your holdings and sell back to EONA at any time.
This means you’re not relying on synthetic or paper-based silver.
Storage
Your silver is stored with Loomis in Dubai. Zurich and Singapore are planned locations (coming soon) and are not currently available. Loomis maintains insurance under its own policy.
Storage is 1.00% per year for silver, plus 5% VAT. See our Fees & Spread page.
