Buying Silver with EONA
Buying silver shouldn’t be complex or opaque. EONA offers professionally vaulted, allocated silver with a transparent price and a published commission and an online account.
Here’s how to buy silver through EONA. EONA sells on an execution-only basis and does not give investment advice.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Start by registering on the EONA platform. You’ll provide basic personal details and complete identity verification (KYC), as required under UAE anti-money-laundering rules.
✅ Verification is online; some cases need a manual review.
Step 2: Pay by Bank Transfer
Once verified, you pay by bank transfer in AED or USD from a bank account in your own name. We do not accept cards, cash or crypto-assets.
💡 Money you send is held only as payment for metal (“Funds for purchases”), earns no interest and is refunded automatically if not used within 30 days.
Step 3: Choose Your Silver
Choose silver and enter the amount you want. You’ll see the price — based on the international spot price plus a premium — and the 1.00% commission plus 5% VAT before you confirm.
Before you buy, note:
- Amount (your holding is recorded against specific bars, or a recorded share of them)
- Storage (Loomis, Dubai — Zurich and Singapore are planned, coming soon)
🎯 You see exactly what you’re buying — no pooled accounts.
Step 4: Confirm and Buy
Review your order and confirm. The price that applies is the one shown on the platform when you confirm, and you receive a record of your purchase.
Your silver is:
- Allocated to specific bars
- Recorded separately from EONA’s own assets
- Stored with Loomis in Dubai
📄 Storage costs 1.00% per year for silver, plus 5% VAT.
Step 5: View or Sell
You can view your holdings in your account and sell back to EONA at any time. Proceeds are paid to your verified bank account.
EONA does not currently offer delivery or collection of physical metal.
What to Know
- Direct: You buy directly from EONA, which is the seller.
- Published costs: international spot price plus a premium when you buy, minus a discount when you sell, and a 1.00% commission plus 5% VAT (see our Fees & Spread page).
- Clear records: Bar allocations in your account, and vault stock subject to independent checks.
The value of silver can rise or fall, and you may get back less than you paid.
